Introduction
장화(彰化)현 팔보천(八堡圳)은 1709년에 준공하였으며 대만에서 최초로 굴착된 도랑으로 가장 오래된 도랑 중 하나입니다. 팔보천은 시스팡(施世榜)이 자금을 조달하여 지었기 때문에 원래 이름은 ‘시조천(施厝圳)’이라하며, 탁수계(濁水溪)의 물을 취하여 팔보 농지에 관개해주었기 때문에 ‘탁수천(濁水圳)’이라고도 합니다.
